Leona Liteyears is the resident intern aboard the Spiffy 2000. She was assigned to Cap'n Spiffy as part of the Intergalactic League of Justice's new and untested intern system (started as a result of the 'let's train more people for a job that already has too many workers' bill). Leona is not taking this intership to learn to become a galaxy saving hero, however, but to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a banker. In the galaxy, crime has risen to the point where all people who work in areas with large amounts of money are required to have a degree in Galactic Heroship.
